Multiculturalism: A's International Club Christchurch

Multiculturalism: A's International Club Christchurch

Created by Audrey Davies in 2011, the Club has over 360 members representing around 38 countries from around the world. The idea is to bring our world together in the Garden City regardless of religious beliefs, race,  language, colour, gender, age, disability, status or political beliefs. The membership is free with various events being organised during the year including ten pin bowling, Devonshire tea meet, swimming get-togethers, picnics by the Avon river, Victorian Park walk-about, mid-winter Christmas lunch, and South Brighton Park trail walks. A much anticipated event of the Club is the pot luck dinner where people bring their respective ethnic foods dressed in their respective ethnic costumes.
